The first 9 years of Letterstime are here:
http://www.thequickbluefox.com/letterstime_main.html The rest may still be on the back pages of this Board. Be careful, if you do not know how to swim, however. |

You can reach the fiction board through the discussion board link. Some of the threads are archived as well. I've had to disable URLs because of the
webarchive links, so you'll have to use copy-paste:
1998-2007 http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.warships1.com 2004-onward http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.navweaps.com/ The start of Theodore's epic alternate World War II in the Pacific is available hard copy http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback-book/wake-relieved/575731 Online, try http://web.archive.org/web/20050913192919/home.att.net/~leverett/wwii.html Bits and pieces of Theodore's Panay War can be seen on fiction board archive. For the Tarrantry Saga, see the archive of Theodore's site: http://web.archive.org/web/*/home.att.net/~leverett/saga.html Now if Jan would get The Further Adventures of HMS Hood up somewhere... Wow, even more! Thanks, Big rich
Strange that I found only one age of sail story. Seems everyone is concentrated on steam and steel which is kind of understandable. |

Strange that I found only one age of sail story. Seems everyone is concentrated on steam and steel which is kind of understandable. You might try Jeff Thomas' The Privateer Chap on this site or over the History, Politics and Current Affairs (hereafter, HPCA) site's Fiction Board : http://www.tboverse.us/HP...ee031652894efb733b621f69 or New Golconda's age-o'-sail fiction on US 74s in the War of 1812: http://warships1discussio.../reply/68272#reply-68272 Aside from the more famous print epic series (Bolitho, Hornblower) there is (or was) a series call Privateers and Gentlemen by Jon Williams set in/around the War of 1812. I've been trying to assemble the entire run for some time, but haven't yet acquired all the books. Regards, Big Rich
