I was just concerned because you were not giving references to your claims. And Im surprised your not a turtle.
My backround is a lot of ships at sea. And 3 generations of civilian ordnance work for US BBs beginning in the early 1900s lots of info on BB 26 all the way to BB-71.

I was on the Voge during the collision with the EchoII. The picture that shows the Echo's conning tower close up is mine. Was standing on the flight deck and watched the subs bow go right under me.
It was a real holy shi# moment.
