I've just had the best idea with HMS Iron Duck (sorry i mean HMS Rubber Duke No No its HMS Iron Duke) getting the 900 kilo's of cocaine and no doubt
more to get seized and the RFA pull in a bit to the RN should sell it! Huge profits £50 a gram thats 900,000 grams and thas alot of cash and another few years
the RN maybe even enough for CVF No 3. 
On a serious note at least CVF has been signed and if we don't have enough escorts the government will soon learn if a conflict looses maybe 1 T45 and a
few other ships. That would have to force the hand to purchase another batch. I hoping for seperate FAA once we get our 128 JSF's. Maybe shared training
but what excuse can the RAF have for needing all the JSF's they have 234 eurofighters and UCAV's on the way. also hopefully UCAV's for FAA soon to.

Well sugar cane and tobacco played a big part in the funding of the embryonic Royal Navy, so I don't see why other types of *a-hem* crop can't help
subsidise the Navy in times of financial peril

The best way to make sure that the Royal Navy receives proper funding is posting MPs on all major warships in war-zones with senior cabinet ministers having to be posted on the carriers, I am sure they would find sufficient funds for escorts if their lives were at risk. |
