Alright you battleship geeks, here's one for ya! Snagged from MARHST-L

I've been going over the blueprints for the USS Delaware (BB-28) and I've run
into an abbreviation that has me stumped. There are several round objects
with a 14" OD and a 10" ID marked "DL". They are scattered all over the
weather decks all the way up to the superstructure deck. They are placed
symmetrically port and starboard, but I can't see any apparent pattern fore
and aft. They don't seem to be consistently located next to other known
objects.
