Ergodan has now won his election to become supreme ruler of Turkey. With a mere 51% and a lot of talk of vote rigging. This has left Turkey deeply polarised. His support is mostly in the fundamental rural areas. Several of the largest cities, including the capital, voted no. He will push for the return of the death penalty, which will end any hope of joining the EU. He will probably start sending refugees to Europe again.
Turkey will probably join the long list of critically unstable Arab countries. Could be a wild ride.
