Just watched the film 'The Baby and the Battleship'.
It has great views of a 'Town' class cruiser with the later Mark 6 directors fitted for controlling the 4-inch batteries. Initially looked most odd with the directors on tall towers at the rear edges of the old aircraft hangers. The distinctive twin radar domes are identical to the ones I've seen on Cavalier.
Its often forgotten that the RNB spent a lot of time and money on modernising these cruisers in the immediate post-war period.
They also had good film of the carriers, destroyers and Seahawk strike aircraft.
