The Dingaan Empire covers the majority of the Talavi Island archipelago (fictional), and this sits to the east of South Africa and south of Madagascar. The Talavi-Natal Straights run for roughly 1,000km and at their narrowest some 200km wide. While the Talavi-Madagascan straights are roughly 400km wide.
Both straights are subject to strong currents and relatively shallow (like the North Sea is shallow).
The Dingaan Empire viewed the Apartheid regime of South Africa as abhorrent and remained hostile to it, just as prior to their defeat during WWII they viewed colonial powers from the Cape to the Horn as something to expel (so they could take that territory for themselves). Only agreeing with the British on ending slavery.
Being flush with resources and people, post WWII the economy rebuilds quickly and successfully.
How should the Imperial Navy proceed with the structure of it's forces once the economy comes on tap and the European Empires begin withdrawing?
Pre-WWII, the Empire uses a mixture of systems sourced locally, and from Germany and Japan.
