Nothing changes: the US is still procuring a massive number of F-35s. The only thing Trump can change is shift the balance a little from, say, 85% F-35s and 15% evolved teens, to 75% F-35s and 25% evolved teens. No effect on the US' war readiness, considerable effect on their respective manufacturers' bottom line.

And how would that differ from the B-1A to B-1B? I'm not saying it'll happen or is even likely, but it's not impossible. There's not even a SecAF named yet.
