I seem to recall reading that Jim did have much of the die rolls done last time so *all* he needed to do was put the words onto the page.
So, um, Jim...20 minutes or so until WHANGS and (RN DN Shattering) KABOOMS...right????

Figured that I would start a new "remind Jim" thread...

Well, Jim did post last week, so we MIGHT consider cutting him some slack...
I know just how much effort one's best writing can take--though mine comes nowhere near Jim's. Note I said "Some Slack," not "Lots of Slack," and we New England Yankees are good with tar and feathers... |

Once upon a time, on a Galacia far far away, jim uset to post multiple times PER WEEK. Eventually he trailed off to once a week. From there he just became a slacker of sorts...
But when there is a battle afoot, he CAN post often. Now, he will try to tell us that with the additional characters and scenes, the writing is more "complicated" and "harder". DONT LET HIM FOOL YOU! Jim's talents are second only to the Baron's (humm...OK, he is THIRD, behind the Baron's and the Baron's good Grand Daughter the Lady Christine). he is just not trying hard enough. What he needs is a little encouragement. Limericks have been used in the past, but are often felt to be cruel and unusual. A more appropriate form of persuasion is a mob of angry fans, some with pitchfolks and hot coals. OR... We could contact TLC and explain to HER how Jim is holding us on the edge of our seats. She is a good and charitable soul and would surely see our plight and force Jim to be more proficient. |
