The praise is for your text as well.
You are too kind and I must point out that
parts of the text of The Royal Navy and the Commonwealth Navy 1919-33 are modified from the work of Harry Flashman
and Stuart Slade so they certainly deserve some of the credit.
I hope your story is not one more of a still stronger Allied navy against crazy German fascists with a weak fleet.
I'd very much like the Weimar Republic surviving and the Brits fighting someone else. But I am probably wrong, am I?
The Nach dem Tag story is actually a start point for two separate timelines. One of them is already underway and is being posted on this board as 'The Dark Colossus'. It has not been updated in a couple of months but I hope to get back to it soon. I intend to post a combined Nach dem Tag/The Dark Colossus timeline soon to help make sense of the story. I must admit there are some crazy German fascists in the story (who are doing rather better in TTL than they did in real life - but the story is only halfway through) and the Kreigsmarine is growing to be a very powerful fleet indeed. I can't really say much more than that because I don't want to give the plot away.
The second timeline is very different though at the moment it is in its very early stages, I have only roughed out the plot and it needs a great deal of work. Germany in the main part of this second timeline is not run by the Nazis though I've not yet decided if the Weimar Republic will survive or if the Nazis will gain power and then lose it within a couple of years. Again I don't want to give too much away but the alliances of this timeline will be radically different from those of our own.
