Current three modules are as follows (with the mission and resent GAO assessment):
- Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW): counter threats from submarines in the littorals using manned and unmanned systems (5 of 12 technologies remain inmature)

- Mine Countermeasure (MCM): mine hunting, neutralization, and sweep-systems from MH-60S and unmanned underwater, arial, and surface vehicles (all technologies mature or approaching maturity; MH-60S inventory concens)

- Surface Warfare (SuW): detect, track and engage small boats in the littorals (3 of 4 technologies mature, Army-developed non-line-of-sight missile inmature)

Prototype modules of each are due to be delivered in 2008, with optimized / production modules expected in 2011. None of the module designs are 100% finalized.

Future modules will likely be upgraded blocks for these missions, as well as escort, littoral air defense, and Maritime Security Operation mission focus modules
