A B2 bomber was lost off Guam shortly after taking off from Anderson AFB. Both crew ejected safely but it's the first loss of a B2. The article
doesn't say, but it may have been flying to Iraq or Afghanistan. Lucky they don't make you pay for what you break

What is going on ? 2 days ago 2 f-15 crashed. Only during this year US lost about 10 planes.

Unlike other countries, the US military has thousands of aircraft in the air each day, around the world.
The loss rate this year is nothing extra-ordinary, and the overall loss rate remains very low... it is just that you (and the media) are temporarily more aware of each one. |
