I'd go with the Mig-29 and the Su-37. The development of the Russian A/C is much slower due to lack of funding and money to keep the air force flying. And
with the manitance problems also due to funding the chances of the Russians keeping pace with the west on development of new aircraft.

I think that today the biggest problem of Russian aircraft industry is lack of experienced employees. They went to the privet sector years ago. For example,
today MIG can not even assembly correctly several MiGs for Algeria. I doubt that they are able to introduce new fighter before 2025. Maybe with help of India
or China about 2020 but not sooner.
