Is been a while since i posted hear mostly becuse i had trobble getting to grips with SS3 2b

Hear is my attempt at a better Flower. At three times the cost i not shore if its as three times as good as Carthaginian's HMS LILLY.

I went for tripple expanshion engines like the origernal and a near historic weapon fit.
The 21" torpedo tubes are old twin sets from old ships and wpuld probily get removed by mid 43 although when homeing torpedos arrive in late 44 they would be useful

Protection is splinter for vitals only.

Coventry shipyards Mk III A

A revised version with a new machinery layout and improved internal layout.

The biggest change is in the engine, which has now been replaced by a pair of 2750 ihp four cylinder triple expansion engines driving a shaft each. This engine was the original engine used in the flowers. As a result of having a twin shaft arrangement the ship should be a bit livelier on the helm but I have allowed wasted void space to rise to 7 tons to compensate for the revised shaft arrangements.

Top speed has dropped slightly but fuel bunker capacity has been improved slightly and thing are not so cramped down there any more.

Below deck storage has been improved and improved protection over the vitals.

The torpedo tubes have been removed but they were originally put on as I believe the RN had plenty of these old mounts in stock and they would probably be removed after a year or so any way.
