1) How easy is it to transition from working with USN reactors to civilian reactors (like for a power company)?
2) Is the USN hiring?
3) How easy is it to get a job in the civilian world?

I'm stopping to take a good hard look at what all my options are for long term employment, and somehow I came up with the idea of enlisting in the USN,
striking a nuke rating, and eventually getting a job at either the Ft. Calhoun or Cooper Nuclear Stations.
Now, tell me every reason why I shouldn't do that. ![]()
