Ordered this book, based on what Jlyons quoted a few months back - it appears to have some interesting information on FAA fighter policy not present in
other secondary sources.
I was interested to find this passage on the first page of the seafire section
"The only available aircraft, the sea gladiator, was no match for the BF109 fighter and when the carrier HMS Courageous was attacked by luftwaffle
bombers, nothing could prevent it being sunk."
Not a very good start, indeed I suspect our worst posters on this board could do better!
