First Diesel-driven Ship is Selandia,buildt at B&W Cobenhagen in 1911 and delivered to E.A.C. East Asian Company(Ø.K.)

Lyle Cummins has a couple of books on early diesels and their development.
One covers very early development through to the First World War. The other covers diesels for submarines and is called something like :"Diesels for the First Stealth Weapon" |
