If the Delay coils take care of it and you can't tell with the eye then explain this (Have seen WWII versions of the same type Salvo pattern not just on Video footage of the Iowas but also the Ten/Cali etc)
I also know that during shake downs (And the occasional photo op) they fire all 9 at the same time (Guess you can cut out the delay coils or something) not 100% certain on that though.
