Was there such a place on battleships? A sort of Emergency Bridge in case the Main Bridge was knocked out?

yes there is actully more than 1 other main plot ,and navigation room ,to name a few also if I remember Damage control can also be used as well as the conn

Hello,
Most warships had what was called Secondary Conn. Quite often the XO would be stationed there at General Quarters in the event that the C.O. & staff were killed in Conn. |
