Flotation blocks to help keep the bow from hitting the ramp/bottom during launch. They will be removed soon.

What's that round thing that looks sort of like a radar dome under what I think is the stern? Maybe where they will place what looks like a pod mounted
propellor? If it is, I've always wondered how those things would react to underwater damage, a mine or torpedo hit. They look like a torpedo would blow the
pod off, and I'd say that would be bad news for your ship.

On a side-note, it's interesting to see that many people refer to the ramp as a Sky Jump. As far as I'm aware, it was originally referred to as a Ski
Jump, as in skiing on snow. Was it lost in translation or has it been renamed?
