Posts: 274 ( 3-Mar-2008 14:39:37) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I was allowed to visit Korsør naval base and take pictures of the new OPV Knud Rasmussen (P570) and the new coastal patrol craft Diana (P520). Unfortunately the Absalon brothers had left harbor. Hope you'll enjoy P570 Knud Rasmussen - Second to be delivered this year, third planned. I wrote that this ship look a bit clumsy and 'funny' jugded from the pictures I have seen so far. But in real life this ship looks a lot more elegant and well-balanced ! Would love to see it fire a broadside

A reaction drive for emergency use: you fire the gun directly behind you, & as well as propelling you at quite high (though not very controllable) speed, it has the advantage of distracting, & if you're lucky even damaging, any pursuers.
