I hope this topic is not too unplesant. But I think it is important to discuss what went wrong, and lead to her capture. My own interest in this event is that one year after her capture I was assigned to HQ Air Forces Korea operations and had the task of going through all the Air Force documents in Korea on the event. Since I had graduated with a degree in history, with an emphasis on military history, I found this task facinating. So I am familiar with the Air Force view on the incident but not the Navy view and analysis. I will be happy to discuss the information I have with a few exceptions.
