Theodore has opened up the option to use threads on this page, to see how/if the new feature works (thanks Theodore).

If threads are working OK, this should be a thread hanging off Thread 1, and we should be able to see it's not part of thread 2

Seems to work a lot better if the "stay in topic" box is NOT ticked.
Personally I'd have thought it should be the other way round, but what the hell, if it works, it works. |

Having said that though, looking at your above posts, it's clearer what posts reply to what. I was in favour of a return to threaded posts and support a
'blanket' return across the board (no pun intended).

I wonder why they thought it was a good idea to have the quick reply box between the reply/replies one's reading, and the tree of links. Now, I used the
link "Reply" in Pascaly's message, which on ezBoard's threaded view would place the reply as a reply to Pascaly's reply - it will be
interesting to see if that actually happens here....
The fact that you needed to know was not known at the time that the now known need to know was known, therefore those that needed to advise and inform the Home Secretary perhaps felt the information he needed as to whether to inform the highest authority of the known information was not yet known and therefore there was no authority for the authority to be informed because the need to know was not, at that time, known or needed.
