Has any one read this book about the Squalis?? cira 1939

Yes, a few years ago. I remember it as being quite good.

I read the book a couple of weeks ago. It is very good, maybe excellent. While the rescue of the sailors on the sunken Squalus and her salvage are the core of the book, I would say that Swede Momsen is its focus (the writer knew him).

I remembered it,as it was big headlines and the pontoons were made in lynn mass at the G E river works I too have read it 3 -4 times

Many years ago,when i was a kid, I read about the story in the danish version off Readers Digest( Det Bedste) in the early 70`tees,so maybe try to find the
us-eng version.
