Sounds like the Aussie Labour party of 2008 is following in the vein of the British Labour party of 1966,- expect by this time next year the largest shisp in the RAN to be the Armidales class patrol boats! They will be announced as more than enough for the defence needs of the nation and everything else will be axed. If you need to move your soldiers to a trouble spot they can charter a few airliners and go that way, much cheaper than all these hideous grey ships that clutter up the Sydney...
