After leaving Wilhelmshaven behind one of our mine hunters of the Minensuchboot 1943 type who escorted us safely true the mine fields outside the harbor whey met up with SMS Z6 Theodor Riedel and SMS Z20 Karl Galster to begin our 12 day patrol.
