"The LPD hull number 990 was launched 12/7 of 2006, and the keel for the 2nd hull was laid on the same day.

These dock landing ships have full displacement of 11,394ton, and is a follow up design to the LR-972 KRI hospital ship (LPD).

Last September TEMPO Interactive of Indonesia reported the Korvet Nasional's technical specifications were set and all that remained was budget allocation.

I have been hunting around, but there seems to be very little information on the net aside from what I have sen here on these ships. Anyone know where I can get some details? Things like internal layouts, lane-metre capacity, well dock dimensions, stuff like that?

I am interested from a professional perspective, for these ships are unique in being the first commercial LPD. Their extemely low price reflects this.
