The ship was found about 50km due east off the south tip of Moreton Island, which is the next island over from Bribie Island. This hospital ship was sunk by a
Japanese submarine in 1943, reportedly.

			<description><![CDATA[ Does anyone here have any idea what the RCN had in the Pacific from 1941-44, other than the two <em>Prince</em> class AMCs?

I am aware that the HMCS <em>Prince Robert</em> and HMCS <em>Prince David</em> were a couple of the ships there and at least one of them later joined Admiral
Fraser&#39;s RN Task Force 57 in the Pacific along with the cruiser HMCS <em>Uganda</em> by 1945.

the fleet. First delivery will be 2014, with the first squadron in service by 2018 (i.e. about 2 years behind the original plan circa 2005), and all three
