			<description><![CDATA[ When HMS Renown was refitted in 1923 its new 9&quot; belt was fitted somewhat higher than Repulses to account for the extra weight making the ship run deep.
Does anyone know how much higher, and was the main deck adjusted to meet its top?

Did the fact that Repulse did not have this improvement be the reason it only had a 2nd class refit in 1933? In many ways a fully modernised Repulse would be
tactically more useful than of one of the modernised QEs.

			<description><![CDATA[ In the Gulf there are a good variety of Royal Navy vessels but for some reason its appears to by the Type 22&#39;s that are charged with securing the Iraqi oil
terminals. HMS Chatham has just taken over duties from HMS Campbeltown. Is there any special reason that the Type 22&#39;s are used. Do they have lots of
smaller guns on them to warn off the small boats that can threaten the oil terminals? Or maybe they have very good surface search radar that can track all the
boats very accurately? I... ]]></description>
